Picture Perfect Phuket

Phuket (pronounced Puket) is Thailand’s largest island. The scenery is breathtaking when both by the sea and going up the never ending mountains to various lookout points. We stayed at the Avista in Kata which is south of Karon and Patong. Our hotel room was awesomely modern and my best memory of our stay is one of the nicest sunsets we have ever seen. Unfortunately Phuket is no longer an undiscovered island treasure of Thailand, but rather a very touristy and tacky vacation spot for Europeans. It was very picture worthy but not very “stop over” worthy!!

Patong in Phuket where we had our first Fish Pedicure and it was awesome. Those little suckers just eat away at the dead skin on your feet and your legs and you leave there with a tingly feeling and the sense that your blood is circulating better in your legs and feet!
